Description
The everyday pH kit for your bathroom shelf
If you test your pH every morning, the bottle version is the simplest way to do it. The color chart is printed right on the bottle, so the strips and the chart are always together and you don't have to look for a separate card. The moisture-blocking bottle keeps unused strips dry between tests, and with 150 strips you have about five months of daily testing at the lowest price per strip in the Palinoia pH line.
What it measures
pH from 4.5 to 9.0, in urine or saliva. Each strip has two reagent pads, so every test gives you two readings to compare against the chart.
How to test
- Take one strip from the bottle and close the cap right away.
- Dip the strip in a fresh urine sample, or touch it to saliva.
- Wait 5 seconds.
- Hold the strip next to the chart on the bottle and match both pads.
- Write down your reading with the date and time.
Making your readings useful
pH changes over the day with meals, hydration and activity, so one reading doesn't tell you much. Test at the same time each day, use the same sample type (urine or saliva), and keep a simple log. After a week or two you'll see patterns, such as how a high-protein day or a day without enough water shows up in your numbers.

Frequently asked questions
How long does one bottle last?
If you test once a day, 150 strips last about five months. If you test twice a day (for example morning and evening), they last about 10 weeks.
Why does my pH change during the day?
Urine pH shifts with what you eat and drink, how hydrated you are, and the time of day. That's why testing at a consistent time matters more than any single reading.
Should I use urine or saliva?
Either works. Pick one and stick with it, because urine and saliva readings aren't directly comparable.
How do I keep the strips accurate?
Close the cap right after taking a strip, keep the bottle away from humidity and direct sunlight, and don't touch the reagent pads.
Do I need a prescription?
No. These are over-the-counter strips for at-home screening.
