Description

Know what is in your water

The Palinoia 22-in-1 Drinking Water Test Kit lets you screen tap, well and filtered water at home. With 130 strips, you can test regularly, compare water sources and track changes over time.

What it tests for

Common water-quality markers, including lead, iron, copper, mercury, nickel, zinc and manganese; free and total chlorine and bromine; nitrate and nitrite; fluoride, sulfate, hydrogen sulfide and sodium chloride; pH, total hardness, total alkalinity and carbonate; and a coliform bacteria screen.

How it works

  1. Fill a clean glass with the water you want to test.
  2. Dip one strip into the sample as directed.
  3. Remove it and hold it steady while the pads develop.

How to read the results

Compare each pad to the included color chart and note your readings. Testing the same source over time helps you see whether a filter is working or your water is changing.
